SCBA PTG News May 17, 2011 Good morning everyone - here are a few things that needs to be passed on to you all. Hopefully, (but unlikely) I have remembered everything. Used Uniform: Used uniform is today and tomorrow, today after school and tomorrow before and after school. Come and get some great deals on clothes for school next year. Jog-A-Thon: Wow our kids are awesome! They did a great job not only running, but getting those sponsors and turning the money in was great. It is not too late to still turn that money in to the office. The committee will let everyone know what the total raised was and the prizes won next week. Thank you to Kendra Keating and Pam Wenhe for taking on this huge event for our school. Casino: Casino is on Saturday at 6:30 in the parish hall. If you are not a "gambler" you could just come to sample some great wines, eat and enjoy the last social event of the school year with the different families of the academy. The price to get in to eat and drink is only $25.00 - it would cost almost that much just to wine taste without the food and think of all the entertainment that be can had from the gambling tables (without all that Vegas smoke). If you decide to gamble you can purchase chips for $20.00 there to get $100 of chips. Now if you are more laid back and love to use a "dabber" then why not join us for Bingo straight after mass. For $30 you get the Bingo cards and food, drinks not hosted. After Bingo you can go into the hall for the wine tasting (included in your Bingo cost). If wine is not your thing, the Knights of Columbus will have the bar open with different other drink options for you. Thank you for all the families that have volunteered to bring some of the food for the evening, it is greatly appreciated. Turn in your RSVP's as soon as possible so that we make sure we have plenty of food and beverages. PTG Positions: As you will see in your Tuesday Treasure there are many different opportunities for volunteers to step in and help the school. Your children love to see their parents at school. Please consider filling in one of those open spots and maybe offer other options that PTG could explore. Parochial Track Meet: This Sunday is the parochial track meet at Cathedral Catholic High School - check the website to see the times of the various events that our classmates are entered in and hopefully you will consider going to cheer them on.
